Hoshan was established in 1969 with a commitment to quality and excellence offering a broad spectrum of general legal services to both the business community and individuals. The cumulative expertise and experience of the firm's lawyers in both common law and civil law, besides their knowledge of Islamic Shari'a law, well serve both its domestic and international clients. Our practice is client oriented, and we work closely with our clients (some for more than 30 years) to resolve their problems and achieve their objectives in a cost effective manner. In the field of intellectual property, our firm is a founding partner of Gulf Consultants for the Protection of Intellectual Property, a professional corporation established with one national firm in each of the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) for the registration and protection of intellectual property in the GCC states.  Our firm is also a founding member of the Gulf Society for the Protection of Intellectual Property under formation.

The firm has both a professional and a civic commitment to the community and is committed to strengthening the quality of the legal profession. The firm's lawyers all do pro bono work for persons of limited means.
